Rules & self-administration

The shared apartment at Bluemlisalpstrasse 33 is self-administered.
The house rules are binding for all flat share residents.

  • The purpose of the WG agreement is to regulate the tasks and responsibilities of the tenants and the relationship between the tenant and the landlord.

  • This agreement forms an integral part of the rental agreement.

  • The rooms are rented to one person each and are occupied by the same person. Temporary visits of a few days are permitted. Sub-rentals such as AirBnB are not permitted. Other subleases such as a semester abroad etc. must be approved.

  • The flat share has the right to propose a new tenant within one week of the termination.

  • Every two weeks, the public rooms are cleaned by an external cleaner. The private rooms are the responsibility of the individual tenants.

  • Winter and spring pruning of the hedge is done by a gardener. The rest of the gardening work and its design are the responsibility of the tenants.

  • The lower screed can be used as a furniture reloading point, but should remain free of personal items.

  • For aesthetic and fire safety reasons, stairs and corridors on all floors must be kept free of personal items.

  • At least every semester, if necessary also every quarter, an inspection of the entire property is carried out by the rental company; this is announced in advance.

  • It is trusted that the tenants can regulate their coexistence through dialogue.

At the beginning of the semester, or at the request of the tenants, a full flat-share meeting should take place.

  • The WG general assembly serves to determine all matters relating to living together on the B33, in which all tenants have the same say. (Suggest a new tenant, use of the flat-share fund, distribution of housework, etc. etc.)

  • At the meeting, a WG delegate and a WG-budget-responsible person will be determined. The WG delegate is the contact person for the administration and calls the general assembly of the WG. Resolutions relevant to the rental will be communicated to them in writing.

  • There is a shared fund from which you can buy common goods (such as toilet paper, salt, oil, brooms, etc.). It is also drawn from it if smaller things break, such as glasses. Each tenant pays a certain amount into the WG fund at the beginning of the month. All residents contribute equally. If at the end of the year there is a remaining amount in the shared flat, this will be spent together with the flatmates (e.g. flat share party!).
